How to Register Toronto's Secular Jewish Community School's Secular B'nai Mitzvah Program is currently accepting registrations for the 2008-2009 academic year. Students enrolling in the 2008-2009 year for the first-time will be committing to two-years of preparation for their group B'nai Mitzvah ceremony which will be held in June 2010. Toronto's Secular Jewish Community School's tuition rates operate on a voluntary sliding scale. Our philosophy is that every child is entitled to a good Jewish education. One way of ensuring that our program is accessible to all children, regardless of their family's financial situation, is to ask that those families who feel they are able to pay more than teh base tuition rate, do so. This support is greatly appreciated and helps to provide the assistance that some families may require. For 2008-2009, the base tuition rate for the B'nai Mitzvah Program will be $800 per student per year. An optional language class teaching Yiddish and Hebrew offered in conjunction with the Morris WinchevskySchool is available for an extra $125 per year (it meets weekly, immediately before the B'nai Mitzvah Program class). UJPO member families are entitled to a $100 tuition discount.
